The Mayor of Amerli District, Maitham Nouri, explained that this ban is part of precautionary and preventive measures aimed at protecting citizens' lives in this region, which spans tens of kilometers and features complex terrain and remote areas. Despite assurances that the security situation is stable due to the extensive deployment of security forces, authorities continue to enforce restrictions as a precaution against any potential activity by sleeper cells, urging civilians and fishermen to strictly adhere to guidelines to ensure their safety.
