Mosul Municipality Employee Arrested Red-Handed in Bribery Crime

The Federal Integrity Commission revealed on Sunday the arrest of a Mosul Municipality employee caught red-handed receiving a financial bribe. In an official statement, the Commission stated that a force from the Nineveh Investigation Directorate executed a qualitative operation in the Al-Ghazlani Municipal Sector, resulting in the arrest of the employee the moment he received funds from a citizen's representative in exchange for passing a real estate transaction and issuing a clearance certificate. The statement confirmed that the money was seized in the suspect's possession inside his office, leading to his formal detention by order of the Nineveh Investigation Court judge specialized in integrity cases.
