Iraqi Government Commends Pakistan's Mediation Efforts to End Tensions Between Washington and Tehran

Prime Minister Ali Fadhil Al-Zaidi expressed Iraq's deep appreciation for the pivotal diplomatic role played by Pakistan in its successful mediation, which led to the cessation of military operations and the conclusion of a de-escalation agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This came during his reception of the Pakistani Ambassador in Baghdad, where they reviewed ways to develop bilateral relations and strengthen economic and security partnerships. The Prime Minister emphasized that the recent agreement serves as a crucial safeguard to spare the Middle East from further conflicts and chaos, reaffirming Iraq's supportive stance toward efforts to establish regional stability.
