Chief Justice Affirms Protection of Freedom of Expression and Support for Objective Media Discourse

The head of the Supreme Judicial Council affirmed, during a meeting with the head of the Iraqi Media Network, the importance of protecting freedom of expression as a constitutionally guaranteed right, and the necessity of adopting objective media discourse that serves the public interest. He emphasized the judiciary's role in safeguarding these rights within the legal framework. During the meeting, the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Iraq was presented, a documentary project aimed at archiving Iraq's civilizational and historical heritage, as an initiative reflecting cooperation between the judicial and media authorities.
