Integrity Commission Chairman Emphasizes Pursuing Corrupt Individuals and Prioritizing the Recovery of Looted Funds

The Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali Al-Lami, affirmed during a visit to the Commission's investigation office in Salah al-Din Governorate that the Commission remains committed to pursuing corrupt individuals and recovering public funds. He stressed that there is no immunity for anyone who misappropriates state assets. Al-Lami clarified that the Commission's duties extend beyond bringing offenders to justice, focusing heavily on retrieving looted funds and enhancing preventive and awareness measures. He urged the staff to overcome bureaucratic hurdles to protect citizens' rights, noting the strong support the Commission receives from executive, legislative, and judicial authorities. The tour concluded with a visit to the Presidency of the Salah al-Din Court of Appeal, highlighting the crucial cooperation between the Commission and the judiciary in combating corruption.
