Parliamentary Demands for an Urgent Investigation into the Fuel Shortage Crisis in Diyala Province

 MP Raad Al-Dahlaki held the Ministry of Oil and relevant government authorities fully responsible on Saturday for the ongoing gasoline shortage crisis in Diyala Governorate, which has exacerbated over the past few months without effective government intervention. In an official statement, he emphasized that the lack of radical solutions and the unserious handling of this vital issue have compounded the residents' suffering and paralyzed daily life and public interests. The lawmaker criticized the weak government response to the crisis, calling for the immediate launch of a comprehensive investigation to uncover the causes of the shortage and hold those responsible accountable. He also demanded an urgent increase in the governorate's allocated fuel quota to ensure a stable supply and end the current crisis.
