Ministry of Electricity Approves Increased Supply Hours and Equipment Provision for Karbala

MP Ebtisam Hashim Al-Hilali announced the approval of the Minister of Electricity, Ali Saadi Wahib, to increase electricity supply hours for Karbala Governorate. The approval includes providing 150 electrical transformers, wires, and maintenance materials in preparation for the Ashura and Arbaeen commemorations. Additionally, the agricultural area in the Ain Al-Tamur district will be supplied with both mobile and fixed stations to meet farmers' needs. A request has also been forwarded to specialized committees to allocate funds to the Middle Electricity Distribution Company, Karbala branch, to pay off approximately 205 billion dinars in corporate dues, of which 35 billion dinars have already been settled.
