Ministry of Transport Approves 100 Percent Profit Distribution for Iraq Ports Employees

The Ministry of Transport has officially approved the distribution of 100% of the profits of the General Company for Ports of Iraq to its employees, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable corporate law. The Minister of Transport emphasized that this decision aligns with the ministry's commitment to supporting workers' rights, incentivizing their productivity, and fostering a positive work environment that elevates institutional performance. This approval comes in recognition of the exceptional efforts of the staff, and follows the endorsement of the final accounts for the previous fiscal year by the company's board of directors and the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, totaling over 59 billion Iraqi dinars.
