Following Trump's Visit: Beijing Announces Massive Trade Agreements to Purchase US Aircraft
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced the conclusion of new economic agreements with the United States, encompassing large-scale deals to purchase US-made aircraft and import engines and spare parts into the Chinese market. These agreements culminate the US President's visit to Beijing, where both sides agreed to establish joint trade and investment councils to advance economic cooperation. The understandings also included mutual tariff reductions. Meanwhile, US reports confirmed China's commitment to buying hundreds of commercial jets, in addition to increasing its imports of American agricultural products and energy resources, such as oil and liquefied natural gas.
