Hezbollah Secretary-General Warns of Plots Targeting the Resistance, Affirms Continued Confrontation
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem warned that Lebanon is going through a critical and decisive phase, pointing to comprehensive plots aimed at eliminating the resistance's presence. In a recent speech, Qassem explained that these plans coincide with Israeli military operations and involve imposing a strict financial and economic blockade, as well as closing access points to hinder reconstruction efforts and drive a wedge between the resistance and its popular base. He confirmed the thwarting of attempts to incite internal strife, crediting the awareness of security apparatuses and national leaders. At the same time, he emphasized the continued enhancement of the group's military capabilities and defensive systems, reaffirming their steadfast stance in confronting the occupation until all Lebanese territories are liberated.
