Iraqi National Security Service Reports Extensive 48-Hour Tactical Operations
The Iraqi National Security Service released its tactical operation summary across border crossings and checkpoints over a 48-hour period. Spokesperson Arshad Al-Hakim reported 31 separate seizures and the arrest of 29 suspects implicated in terrorism, drug trafficking, forgery, and residency law violations. Furthermore, security forces detained a high-value suspect wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law upon arrival at Baghdad International Airport, transferring him to judicial authorities. The operations also led to the seizure of 3,103 non-compliant pharmaceutical units and the disposal of 1,450 cartons of unfit food items in accordance with legal standards.
