In an official statement marking World Environment Day, he emphasized that building a strong and stable nation is contingent upon ensuring a healthy and safe environment, noting that Iraq's future depends on preserving its land, water, and air. The President highlighted that Iraq's rich civilizational heritage and vast natural resources place a historic responsibility on all citizens to protect these blessings. He called for transforming environmental conservation into a daily societal culture and a unified national project involving both state institutions and the public.
