mesoiraq - The Ministry of Justice has launched a series of awareness and educational lectures for inmates at the Rusafa 4 Prison, as part of the national program to combat extremism leading to terrorism. The lectures focused on promoting community peace, consolidating the values of tolerance and citizenship, and dismantling the extremist discourse promoted by terrorist groups using psychological and intellectual approaches. The Ministry emphasized that this initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy to transform correctional facilities from mere law enforcement entities into specialized centers for intellectual and psychological rehabilitation, ensuring the successful reintegration of inmates and safeguarding society.
