"A Warehouse Without Cameras".. Integrity Commission Thwarts 7.5 Billion Dinar Waste in Middle Euphrates Electricity
The Federal Integrity Commission thwarted the waste of 7.5 billion dinars at the General Company for Electricity Transmission in the Middle Euphrates. "Rafidain News" revealed that the Karbala Investigation Office formed a joint team with the Engineers Syndicate, discovering that the warehouse was "unofficial and irregular" and lacked surveillance cameras, leaving materials worth 7.4 billion dinars on the public street vulnerable to theft. The Commission explained that the materials were surplus from projects implemented by the company, and that the four suspects exploited them for "personal gain," before the Karbala investigating judge decided to detain them in accordance with Article 331 of the Penal Code.
