Iraqi Judiciary Issues Death Sentence Against "Al-Tikriti" Involved in Anfal Campaigns Crimes

The accused made explicit confessions including the torture and starvation of detainees and participation in liquidation operations, and the court based its verdict on these confessions and victim testimonies. This ruling is part of state efforts to hold those involved in past violations accountable.
