Tehran Warns Against Any Foreign Military Movement in Strait of Hormuz Vicinity and Threatens Decisive Response

Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters in Iran issued today, Monday (May 4, 2026), a stern warning against any foreign military movement in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz without prior coordination with Tehran.

A command statement affirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces fully bear responsibility for securing navigation in the strait, stressing the necessity of full coordination for the passage of all vessels.
