Government Talks to Develop Zurbatiya Border Crossing and Prepare for Major Pilgrimages

The Head of the Border Ports Authority, Omar Adnan Al-Waeli, received the Governor of Wasit, Ali Hassan Salimoun, at the Authority's headquarters in Baghdad to discuss ways to develop the Zurbatiya border crossing and improve its services. The meeting addressed the importance of upgrading the crossing's infrastructure to facilitate passenger movement and commercial exchange. They also reviewed early preparation plans to accommodate pilgrims during major visitation seasons, ensuring smooth transit.
