17 Casualties Reported in Severe Traffic Accidents Across Multiple Provinces

Medical sources reported casualties and injuries following a series of separate traffic accidents across five provinces. The accidents resulted in the death of an elderly citizen and injuries to 16 others, including a former military officer, women, and children. These incidents occurred in the provinces of Anbar, Diyala, Baghdad, Dhi Qar, and Al-Muthanna. Medical authorities confirmed that the injured were transported to emergency departments for necessary care, noting that four remain in critical condition. Excessive speed and improper overtaking were cited as the primary causes of these tragic accidents.
