Hormuz for Enrichment.. Iran Offers a New "Deal" to Washington and Freezes the Nuclear File
In a new turn for stalled negotiations, Iran submitted a proposal to the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end the war in exchange for postponing nuclear talks. Informed sources told "Rafidain News" that diplomacy between the two countries has reached a "dead end" due to divisions within the Iranian leadership over the extent of possible concessions. The sources pointed out that any agreement lifting sanctions might weaken US leverage in future negotiations concerning the stockpile of enriched uranium. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is holding an emergency meeting in the White House Situation Room to discuss the deadlock, after Tehran and Washington canceled upcoming meetings which Trump described as "pointless."
