Iraq’s Oil Ministry Monitors Rehabilitation of Pipeline 46 to Resume Exports via Ceyhan
Iraq’s Ministry of Oil is continuing to oversee rehabilitation works on Pipeline 46, designated for crude exports through Turkey’s Ceyhan port, as part of plans to restart exports and ensure smooth operational flow.
The ministry said a meeting was held to review progress rates and discuss project phases, attended by senior officials from upstream and refining sectors, relevant state companies, and technical specialists.
Participants addressed key obstacles affecting implementation and set responsibilities and timelines for each phase to accelerate completion in line with approved schedules.
The ministry also praised the efforts of on-site teams, noting extended daily working hours aimed at delivering the project within the planned timeframe.
