Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari directed the Director of the Legal Department in the Ministry to Najaf Governorate to follow up on an incident that occurred inside the Ameerat police station. "Rafidain News" reported that the Ministry confirmed in an official statement that the move aims to meet with lawyers and conduct a field review of the details of the incident and the "altercation" between a police officer and a lawyer. Al-Shammari emphasized that the ministry is "keen to protect the dignity of citizens and legal professionals," affirming that "the law is above all and no violation that affects the prestige of institutions is allowed."
